Ballet Classes

Recreational Division-Ballet Classes are once-a-week ballet classses for dancers from ages 2 through 7. These classes are a wonderful way to introduce movement, class structure, and introductory ballet technique to your young dancer. As dancers move through the Children’s Division they continue to expand their movement vocabulary as they grow in confidence and self-esteem in a warm, Christian environment. No experience necessary.

Home School Ballet classes provide daytime opportunities for Elementary and Middle School/ High School home school students to learn the fundamentals of ballet in a multi-age, faith-based setting.  No experience necessary.

Training Division Classical Ballet classes are a great introduction to more intensive study of Classical Ballet for dancers from age 8. Classes meet two or more times per week and start with devotions, like all Turning Pointe classes.  No experience necessary for introductory Level 1A. Transfer students with experience please contact the office to arrange a placement into Levels 1B and 2.

Training Division Ensemble Levels 3-6 classes are for the experienced dancer wishing to gain vital knowledge, strength, and artistry in a pre-professional setting. Performance opportunities include the large-scale, ticketed God-glorifying performances, The Promise and the Spring Ballet. Transfer students please contact the office for a placement.

Jazz, Tap, Christian Hip-Hop, and Musical Theatre

Tap Classes start at age 3.  Tap is a great way to introduce rhythmic and stylistic technique for dancers.  Tap Classes progress with the dancer through age 18.

Jazz Classes start at age 6.  Jazz classes are an upbeat way to gain strength, coordination, and to express a love of movement.  Jazz Classes are offered through age 18.

Christian Hip-Hop starts at age 6.  It provides a hip and energetic class for dancers interested in learning this popular dance form in a family friendly environment.

Musical Theatre starts at age 8.  It provides a great way for dancers to develop their acting skills through readings and skits, learn some basic singing technique in the style of Musical Theatre, and learn the basics of theatrical dancing, including Tap steps, all in a family friendly environment. No experience necessary!.
